Miracles from Heaven (2016) Rated PG

This film follows the incredible true story of the Beam family. Based on the book Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl and Her Amazing Story of Healing by Christy Wilson Beam. Starring Jennifer Garner, Kylie Rogers, and Martin Henderson.

This is a wonderful story about faith. We have parents who are faithful but question what God is doing in their lives. That’s brilliant and wonderful; although, I thought the mother questioned much more than a seasoned Christian would – but I understand that everyone is different. I loved both performances from the parents, Garner and Henderson. The children were mediocre. The pacing was a littler harder to follow due to the timeframe in which the story was being told. We have no idea how long the timelines are. The film is a wonderful telling of a Christian family going through a difficult time in their lives, but it doesn’t preach or have the gospel presented. It’s a feel good film that is worth the watch.
