Suicide Squad (2016) Rated PG-13

A government agency recruits the most dangerous incarcerated super-villains for a new task force. Starring Will Smith, Jaime FitzSimons, and Ike Barinholtz.

I was disappointed with this film. For one thing, there isn’t much substance, which for superhero films you don’t need a lot. It started out good with the introduction of the supervillains, then went downhill from there. The writing doesn’t have consistency; the plot is all over the place and doesn’t follow a single storyline. Then, we have a weak villain without a background. The characters were interesting, but some weren’t that riveting and you don’t care if they survive. This is one supervillain film that’s not worth the watch.
