Walk Invisible: The Brontë Sisters (2016) Rated TV-PG

The journey of the Bronte Sisters as they battle to get their novels published. Starring Finn Atkins, Charlie Murphy, and Chloe Pirrie.

This film follows the Bronte family as they have to deal with family problems all the while trying to write their stories. In a time when women didn’t write, men were their only obstacles, and it didn’t help that they struggled with their alcoholic brother. While the brother took up most of the storyline the sisters took the backside. It does have good cinematography as they filmed mostly in the Yorkshire area. The film highlights a small part of the Bronte sisters’ lives and the struggles of getting published in a male-dominated world. It’s a beautiful telling of a hard life that gives the authors their motivation. It’s worth the watch.
