When Whales Walked: Journeys in Deep Time (PBS) Rated NR

Scientists travel the world to learn about the evolutionary history of whales. Starring Lee Pace.

This documentary focuses on the evolution of whales and what makes them different from any other species. Thus, they go down the path to find the ancestors of whales. While each creature has things that are similar to other animals, we still don’t have the link to connect them. In fact, my favorite quote from one of the scientists is “Evolution doesn’t move in a lineal line”. I think they are trying to make evolution possible without the missing link. However, science is finding the missing link, and until you find the missing link it’s just a theory – not a fact. So, the two hours is filled with them trying to find the links using what they know. This film is not worth the watch.
