No One Believed Me (2025) Rated TV-14

A woman escapes a kidnapping, but once she returns home, no one believes her until she’s kidnapped again. Starring Meghan Carrasquillo, William McKinney, and Jessica Morris.

What true event inspired this film? I don’t think this really happened as it would have made the news. As usual with Lifetime films, the writing isn’t the best, and people don’t make logical decisions. In fact, I really thought Amy was the one with the brains in this film until she was kidnapped the second time and started showing signs of Stockholm Syndrome. Wow, not so smart. The film also never gave the reason why her kidnapper wanted her. The film just didn’t seem to have a reason for anything. This film was not worth the watch.
