Standing Firm (2010)

Rated G

A husband who loses his wife, turns away from his faith, family, and friends. Starring Rob Reisman, Eric Stevenson, Debra Prohaska

I thought the premise of this film was new and interesting but I have to say that the acting left something to be desired. I also struggled with the script. I thought it could have been more rounded. I would have like to see a stronger Christian go through the trials than someone on the fence about their faith. I get what the filmmakers were trying to do having the lukewarm Christian’s faith tested to see God working in their lives. The message is great and since this is the first film by Praise Pictures, it could only get better.
