Valentine’s Day (2010) Rated PG-13

valentine's dayIntertwining couples, either get together, break up, or make up, as they all celebrate Valentine’s Day. Starring Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift

This is a film that is a mishmash of love stories. We see couples that have been together forever and ones that are just beginning. The one thing that causes problems with this movie is the continuity.  There was missteps and misunderstood scenes. I think this movie could have been done better if, the continuity would’ve been fixed but also with the amount of stars in the movie, we didn’t get to enjoy any one story for very long. The actors didn’t have much to build their characters up on. It’s show up and get paid movie, and it showed in some of the performances. I wouldn’t say this is a miss, partly because of the all-star cast. It’s worth a watch just to see some of these actors playing bit parts.
