Jennifer Shannon, owner of an antique store and lover of garage sales, is at it again. She finds a wedding dress with blood on it and knows there is a mystery here. Starring Lori Loughlin, Sarah Strange, Steve Bacic, Cheryl Ladd
I have to say that this wasn’t the best of the Garage Sale Mysteries series. Although the mystery itself was interesting, I was able to figure out who was involved before the main character did. However, the personal side of the story, involving Shannon and her family, was developed more with this film. I liked their inclusion in the last film, and continue to be impressed with the strong family values portrayed. The married couple seems to truly love each other and their children, and they are honest in their dealings with one of the daughters. There is a playfulness about them all that is underscored with a real, familial love for each other. The family’s side stories really don’t distract from the mystery element either; in fact, they enhance it. There is even a twist at the end that had me holding my breath to see whether I guessed the right killer. This film is worth a watch.
