The pilot episode was amazing. It offered enough of an explanation about the pill and background from the film for viewers to make the transition  to the show.  The creators also followed the outline of the film, making the show feel like a movie.  This made it exciting to watch. Since the show does such a great job of explaining everything, it’s not necessary to watch the movie, but you may want to, just to grasp the fuller extent of the film.  As for the show, I am hooked:  I can’t wait to see where they take these characters. Limitless is a show that’s worth a watch.
