Second Chances (2013) Rated TV-G

A firefighter breaks his leg and moves into a ground floor apartment with a single mother. Starring Alison Sweeney, Greg Vaughan, Edward Asner.

This is one of Hallmark’s better romances with all the trademark elements. Quaint, cute and endearing, it could get lost in the shuffle, except for the great performances by Sweeney and Vaughan. They were perfect in their roles, and both had enough depth and chemistry to make this film work.  Add in the precocious children who try to help their mother out, and this becomes a Hallmark film worth watching.
