UglyDolls go on an adventure to learn who they are and their place in the world. Starring Pitbull, Ice-T, and Kelly Clarkson.
I saw the preview trailer of this film about a year ago when the atrocious film reviews starting coming out about the film’s previews. I saw that trailer, and I thought, “this doesn’t seem like a film that will build up a child’s character.” It was better than I originally thought it would be, but it still doesn’t uphold the beauty of individuality. At first, the UglyDolls highlight their beauty, but then they head to the quality assurance department. They must pass with perfection in order to find the human made for them. I get that they want to have a good message about loving yourself and reminding kids that they are perfect as they are, but this film doesn’t put that first. It puts the dolls down more than it builds them up. This film is not worth a watch.
