I’m not sure how much truth there is to this story, but the film doesn’t have the best continuity. This is more about Hoffman than DeLorean; it’s attached that famous name to the story without making it biographical. The filmmakers made the film more of comedic relief than the story behind Hoffman. There are many questions the film doesn’t answer, and it doesn’t give the best story of DeLorean either. There’s a story there that isn’t told. This film missed the mark on so many levels. The film, overall, didn’t know what it wanted to tell or how to tell it. It’s not worth a watch.
